Many campers flock to them during the summer. During Labor Day such locations are still popular with tourists, but have become the destination of the diehard campers rather than just anyone looking to vacation.

Thankfully the northwest has an ecologically diverse landscape that offers many different chances to experience nature. From hiking trails to rugged outdoor campsites that are far off the beaten path, the mountain regions of the northwest are a campers delight and a real bonding experience for families.
Having taken a family of five on every back trail and beachside camping trip possible over the years I can say that summer is a hectic time. Vacation time is always one of the busiest times of the year.
